Nova Scotia’s Renewable Electricity Plan is going to make our province greener and cleaner. The Plan and regulations lay out a clear legal requirement: 25% renewable electricity supply by 2015, using only environmentally-friendly sources such as hydro, wind, solar, biomass, and tidal. A further goal of 40% by 2020 has also been established. This site explains how we intend to reach our targets, and build jobs and prosperity in our province.
