
Nova Scotia’s Renewable Electricity Plan is going to make our province greener and cleaner. The Plan and regulations lay out a clear legal requirement: 25% renewable electricity supply by 2015, using only environmentally-friendly sources such as hydro, wind, solar, biomass, and tidal. A further goal of 40% by 2020 has also been established. This site explains how we intend to reach our targets, and build jobs and prosperity in our province.

Residential and commercial customers can connect renewable energy units (up to 1 megawatt) to Nova Scotia Power's electrical grid.
