Request for Proposals Posted by Renewable Electricity Administrator

The Renewable Electricity Administrator (REA) has posted the final request for proposals (RFP) after receiving approval of the Standard Form Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) from the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board (UARB) on May 25, 2012. 

The RFP calls for a proposal submission date of June 27, 2012. This is subject timely approval by the UARB of Nova Scotia Power's June 1, 2012 filing regarding proposed confidentiality measures.

The proposal submission date will allow successful proponents to participate in the next Nova Scotia Power System Operator (NSPSO) System Impact Study window, which is scheduled to commence in early August.
